I grew up around horses and rodeo, and the western lifestyle has shaped who I am today. From a young age, I learned how to ride, work with horses, and help start young horses along side my father. Those experiences gave me a strong foundation in horsemanship and develop my passion for working with horses.

My Background

I grew up on my families ranch near Browning, Montana, where horses were part of everyday life. I started helping my dad with young horses at an early age, learning how to halter break, desensitize, saddle, and eventually ride them. As I got older, I also gained experience riding racehorses and competing in rodeo. Growing up this way taught me responsibility, patience, and the importance of putting in the work to improve.

College & Horsemanship

I am currently attending UMW and studying Natural Horsemanship, where I have been able to build on the experience I already had with horses. The program has helped me improve my timing, feel, communication, and understanding of how horses learn. I have also learned new approaches to groundwork and riding that I can use with different types of horses. My goal is to take what I learn in college and use it throughout my future career with horses.

My Goals

My Goal is to continue improving as both a horseman and rodeo athlete while building a future around horses. I want to use the knowledge and experience I gain through college to train horses, help other riders, and eventually build a successful horse training business of my own. I also hope to continue competing in saddle bronc riding and push myself to compete at higher levels in rodeo.
